Senator Vittorio Rolandi Ricci, Honorary Ambassador of King Vittorio Emanuele III, purchased
the advised estate, one of
the biggest and most beautiful in Versilia. In his property he built a magnificent palace with a big tower, a twin tower in
the dependance, a little church with a bell in gothic style,
the farm house and other buildings.

the construction took place between 1871 and 1909. Some of
the famous guest of
the villa were:
the composer Giacomo Puccini,
the inventor of
the radio Guglielmo Marconi,
the actress Eleonora Duse and

the historian Vannucci, wrote
the play
"Francesca da Rimini" during his stay at
the Villa.

THE RESTAURANT
Villa Ariston offers typical
Tuscan, as well as International cuisine - with
simple, yet elaborated dishes. To complete

The restaurant D'Annunzio is situated
on the ground floor of
the main Villa
and features an Art Nouveau style dining room.

the Summer, breakfast and dinner are served at
the Rolandi Ricci
restaurant by
the swimming pool, where guests can dine by candlelight in a

the beautiful patterns
