Villa Ariston has an outdoor swimming pool with heated water, hydromassage, 2 tennis courts, gym, children's playground, outside private parking and garage. The Hotel has also an agreement with some bathing establishments located in front of the estate. The original Villa accommodates 20 rooms on 2 floors, the reception, the internal restaurant, one bar and the reading room THE ROOMS Villa Ariston has 65 rooms, 14 of which are suites and 2 rooms with handicap facilities. All rooms and suites have mini bar, telephone with external line, satellite tv, safe, air-conditioning, bathroom in marble with bath or shower. Some rooms have sea view, with balcony or terrace. THE RESTAURANT Villa Ariston offers typical Tuscan, as well as International cuisine - with simple, yet elaborated dishes. To complete the dining experience, a careful selection of prestigious wines has been made. The restaurant D'Annunzio is situated on the ground floor of the main Villa and features an Art Nouveau style dining room. During the Summer, breakfast and dinner are served at the Rolandi Ricci restaurant by the swimming pool, where guests can dine by candlelight in a romantic atmosphere, intensified by the beautiful patterns the light creates on the water. WEDDINGS: Villa Ariston has been specialising on organising wonderful wedding parties for many years. With its various different event rooms & halls, it is one of the preferred locations on the Tuscan Coast and especially in versilia for weddings. The possibility of accomodating up to 140 guests in its 63 Hotel rooms make it also the perfect place to organise weddings coming from abroad (England, Ireland, United States, etc.) Our professional Events team is at your disposal 7 days a week to help you organise your very special day. During the hottest days of the year the Restaurant is transferred to the "Tensostruttura" by the Swimming pool where you can dine by candlelight in a romantic atmosphere intensify by the light reflecting on the water creating beautiful patterns. For lunch, the summer bar, by the swimming pool, offers our guests a tasty rich buffet and a selection of fresh grilled fish. EVENTS: Villa Ariston offers many occasions to taste the specialities of its Chef. The Hotel caters for weddings, baptism, communion and anniversary parties, as well as lunches and dinners for other important occasions. MEETINGS & CONFERENCES: 6 Meeting and conference rooms are at your disposal within the Villa Ariston resort. Ranging from a capacity of 12 to 260 people, they are all very different in style and setting and offer modern comforts as well as the joys of classic, Liberty style rooms. LOCATION Villa Ariston is located along the promenade of Lido Di Camaiore, between viareggio and Forte dei Marmi, 97 km far from Florence, 31 km from Pisa and e 52 km from Livorno. Senator Vittorio Rolandi Ricci, Honorary Ambassador of King Vittorio Emanuele III, purchased the advised estate, one of the biggest and most beautiful in versilia. In his property he built a magnificent palace with a big tower, a twin tower in the dependance, a little church with a bell in gothic style, the farm house and other buildings. The architect who did the project was the popular Genoese Coppedè. The construction took place between 1871 and 1909. Some of the famous guest of the villa were: the composer Giacomo Puccini, the inventor of the radio Guglielmo Marconi, the actress Eleonora Duse and Gabriele D'Annunzio who, according to the historian Vannucci, wrote the play "Francesca da Rimini" during his stay at the Villa. The Villa is the original building, former domicile of Senator Rolando Ricci. It accommodates 20 rooms on 2 floors, the Reception, the d'Annunzio Restaurant, the Puccini bar and the reading room. |
